Systematics, reproductive biology of Solanaceae

Voucher specimens provide a foundation for many approaches to botanical studies. Greg Anderson, students and post docs deposit vouchers, including type material for all kinds of studies listed above. In particular, there are vouchers of various studies of the Solanaceae, ranging from morphological, cytological and molecular studies of domesticated pepino (Solanum muricatum) and its related wild species (from Solanum sects. Basarthrum and Anarrhicomenum), to those of the reproductive biology of andromonecious and dioecious species in the Americas, Africa and Australia.
